My warmest greetings to you! 

I arrived at Ave Maria Village in August, 2007, after working 9 ½ years as administrator at Manor Care Health Services in Minot.  Altogether, I have 25 years of experience in health care administration. During those years I’ve served in health care settings, including long-term care facilities and rural hospitals, faith-based and secular organizations.  Actually, I grew up on a farm near Pillsbury, North Dakota in northeast Barnes County, only 65 miles from Jamestown, so coming here has been almost like coming home.

As a relative newcomer to Ave Maria Village and SMP Health System, I am constantly amazed at the compassion and concern I witness and experience in this facility each day.  Many, many of our team members have answered God’s call to serve His people in this ministry.  Our focus is now two-fold:  1) To provide rehabilitative services to persons who have the potential to return to their own home or to a lesser-care setting, and 2) To provide traditional long-term care and services to those who must live in a skilled setting indefinitely.  This dual mission helps us make the best use of our resources and makes Ave Maria Village a stronger, more diversified care facility.
